Although everyone can profit by various useful features such as sending messages, chat, playing games with friends and share the newest funny pictures from last evening, there are also some negativities in the use of Facebook - missing privacy, less contact with friends in real life and many other aspects.
Hence it is no miracle that more and more people decide to delete their facebook accounts and detract themselves from their social networking addiction. You want to be one of these "back to the roots" guys? No problem!

Step by step:
To delete your Facebook account, simply follow the next four steps and all your data will be deleted permanently.
- Log in your account as you always do. Then navigate to this landing page.
- A page named "Permanently Delete Account" will appear. Follow all the mentioned steps.
- You will have to fill in your regular password as well as a CAPTCHA code. These codes function as a safety measure to assure you are a real person and not a computer program.
- Check your emails. You will receive a written acknowledgement that your profile will be deleted in exactly 14 days. Be patient and do not connect with Facebook during that period.
- Otherwise your account will not be deleted at all. If you are registered on some sites with the feature "Facebook Connect to login", do not use them! Also do not use the "Share" and "Like"-buttons on any page in the web.
- After 14 days, your account will be deleted permanently from Facebook. Enjoy your new gained freedom.
