Introduction:

The typical Valentine's day card is thought to include a little note before delivering it to the recipient. If you plan to send a Valentin's Day card, you may not know what to write. You can add a phrase to a card once you have made a determination of the information that you want to convey.

Step by step:

New Relationship

  1. Make a list of fun activities that you have participated in when on a date and why they are important to you and the relationship.
  2. Think of how you want to get to know this person better.
  3. Create a rough draft or one to two sentence statement of how important the relationship means to you.
  4. The word love is not a good word choice for a valentine card unless you are serious about the relationship.

Ongoing Relationship

  1. Gather your thoughts about how you feel about the person in your life and put them on paper.
  2. Think of all the little things that are done each day that make you happy. Write a short description and make sure to include any past events that are memorable.
  3. When an individual is a parent you can add comments for the super job they are doing and how you appreciate all of their hard work.

Writing Options

  1. When you have determined the type of note or statement that you want to include for a Valentine's Day card and are not happy then other options are available.
  2. You can include a small amount of poetry on a card or use your favorite song lyrics.

Additional Information

  1. You should not ever be demanding or suggestive in a Valentine's Day card.
  2. A person's flaws are also not to be put on a card.
  3. The writing on the card should be original and not copied from a source such as a book or magazine.

Tips

  1. The type of words that you include on a Valentine's Day card will depend on the relationship status.
  2. If a card is for a co-worker or a recent fried, the card will need to be safe.
  3. This means that you need to use a combination of fun and lightweight words.
